I’m a Prague-based director and cinematographer. I picked up my first camera at twelve, learning the craft from classical sfx cameraman Jiří Milfait. That’s when I discovered the power to turn reality into something that truly moves people.

Growing up around theatre taught me how to work with actors, shape emotion, and listen to silence. Later, studying cinematography gave me the tools to speak the camera’s language. I found my passion in working closely with actors, fine-tuning every line until a scene feels completely alive.

Since then, I’ve shot everything from short films to commercials, traveled as far as Hong Kong for a photography award, and worked on festival films like Summer 09 and award-winning campaigns such as From hero to superhero.

These days, I’m drawn to stories that challenge expectations. Things you don’t see every day, ideas that surprise and make people think.
